I know, I know I am a slacker. I have missed two fridays in a row! In my defense, the friday before last I didn't really have anything to show you and this past friday I was on vay-cay so blogging was unfortunately not on my list of things to do.

Without further ado...

• What a fun picture to take with my ring...I like bananagrams better though (although Chris ALWAYS beats me) so maybe I'll try it with those tiles instead.

what can I use this for?

• How can I justify this purchase? I would like to have it as my wedding band but can't see myself liking it forever because it is kind of a little unpractical. Oh well, a girl can dream.

• Chris and I have been sort of talking about getting another doggy so Max has someone to play with because he has loads of energy! We want a miniature dachshund and I was browsing through etsy and came across this...pretty much sealed the deal.

So I promised myself I wouldn't blog a lot about the wedding because I don't want to give away too much...but I just have to give you a little peek...

Chris has just picked him up from Dr. Wood's office and snapped this picture for me.

Unfortunately I had to take him back to the vet on Tuesday to get them re-banaged because they wouldn't stand up. His left ear fell down on Saturday while I had him at my office. He was SO GOOD!

I pretty much couldn't believe it since he is a crazy wild man at home. 

Well anyway, I will leave you with a few baby Max pictures that I downloaded from Chris' phone...

According to Max...

He is SOOO bad. He is NOT allowed on the sofa so when you go towards him to get him off he turns into a wild man. He is pretty much doing everything but double back hand springs on there. Then you can't help but laugh so the discipline goes out the window...so bad, I know. DO NOT be fooled by his perfectly posed photo. He likes for people to think he is well behaved little doggy.

For example, when I took him last month for his vaccines the vet commented on how well behaved he was and I told her that he was usually not so calm and she didn't believe me. Sure enough AS SOON AS she turned her back to leave the room he got crazy. Thanks for making me look like a liar Max. 

After he is done with his gymnastics routine he jumps off of the sofa and lands on the ottoman as the grand finale. It's ridiculous. 

Today I took him to get his last set of vaccines. The vet obviously thought I was a horrible disciplinarian because I was letting Max twist me around on his leash so she was giving me tips on how to control him. It was kind of funny. 

Max is going to soon be enrolled into puppy obedient school.

I took him to the vet on 7/13 and he was only 32lbs. 

In case you share my math skills I will break it down for you.

That is 4.8lbs in 6 days.

0.8 lbs a day, ALMOST a pound a day!

Max's Rat Pack

I bought him a stuffed rat at IKEA and he tore it up in one day!

*Funny side story about the rat. While I was at IKEA I decided I would look around for a cheap toy or two to take home to Max. I walked through the kid's section and noticed a huge bin of stuffed rats. I decided that it would be a funny toy for him. There were brown, gray, and black rats in the bin. I was holding the black and gray rat because I could not decide what color I wanted him to have (silly, I know- why does it even matter?) Remember I am standing in the kid's section- as I am standing there holding these rats trying to make my very difficult decision a lady walked by and gave me the biggest look of disgust I have EVER received! I finally figured out that she must have thought that I was horrible mother for buying my child a stuffed rat! It's pretty funny looking back at it. If only I could have told her it was or a dog. I would like to know why IKEA thought it was a good idea to sell stuffed rats to kids though...

Well everyone...Max finally realized he is big enough to jump on OUR sofa! The first time he jumped up there he couldn't figure out what had happened so he started looking around and then Chris and I realized that we were in big trouble. Now he just likes to jump back and forth between the sofa and loveseat and Chris and I are just running around trying to get him off of one or the other.

Ay yi yi. What are we going to do? 

The vet said that he will get his bandages off on Friday and will have them off over the weekend. 

I will be sure to take a picture of him so that everyone can see what he looks like without his rainbow bandages. Did anyone notice that he has had a different color every week?
